This firm is one of the longest established insolvency practitioners in the country and has a team of highly experienced business recovery professionals renowned for offering expert advice to businesses of all sizes.
They are currently seeking a Senior Manager to manage a varied portfolio of solvent an insolvent corporate assignments, at any one time, ensuring swift and efficient case progression and corporate governance and insolvency compliance requirements are met.
Other duties you will be required to carry out as Senior Manager:
- Demonstrate strong time cost and time management skills for both you and the staff you supervise, including the accurate and comprehensive time recording information.
- Identify and discuss with the IP any issues and obstacles as they arise, suggesting solutions to overcome and progress matters, and provide regular updates to the IP.
- Use IPS case management system for all cases, proactively addressing upcoming diary events as appropriate.
- Undertake financial analysis of statutory accounts, management information, short term cash flow forecasts and longer-term integrated forecast models.
- Assume responsibility for building and maintaining key stakeholder relations, liaising with with clients, clients’ employees, agents, and solicitors as necessary, including site visits.
- Assist with promoting the company but attending client events, marketing events and seminars etc.
Requirements for the role:
- 9+ years’ insolvency experience
- Extensive experience of Administrations, Liquidation (CVL and MVL) and CVA processes.
- Qualified ACA / ACCA and ideally CPI / JIEB
- Engaging personality, with strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, deal with ambiguity and manage conflict / challenging situations.
- Risk tolerant, stress tolerant and comfortable working in a changing environment
- Strong team player
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience of short-term cash flow and other forecast reviews
- Commensurate knowledge of Insolvency Act and Rules and SIPs relating to the above procedures.
- Strong academic record
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel spreadsheets
- Knowledge of on-line accounting packages would be an advantage, but not essential
