Are you an ambitious Share Schemes Senior Manager looking to enhance your career?
We are currently working with one of the largest Accountancy and Business Advisory firms who are looking to appoint an Associate Director/Director Reward and Share Schemes into their highly regarded Tax team based in Bristol. Primary responsibility will be dealing with all matters relating to the management of a diverse portfolio of clients and assisting in business development side and future growth and success of the business.
Requirements for the role:
- Share Options and other forms of employee share ownership tax treatment experience
- In depth knowledge of EMI, ESS and knowledge of reward tax, employment, NIC and capital gains tax
- Ability to pro-actively manage own caseload
- Awareness of accounting, employment law and company law implications of share incentives
- Expertise in split interest, freezer and nil paid arrangements
- Experience in the preparation of share valuations and dealing with HMRC
- Ability to profitably manage a client portfolio
- Experience of dealing directly with clients including agreement of fees
- Strong business development skills, able to highlight further work opportunities
- Manage and mentor team members
- Strong people skills, able to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Interest in the wider HR and human capital drivers and implications of reward
- CTA, ATT, ACA qualified or equivalent
