REWARD & PERFORMANCE CONSULTANT – MANCHESTER – HS0039

In this constantly changing working environment, it is important for organisations to take a fresh look at their total reward and performance strategies.  We are currently working with  a major professional services firm, with a renowned team of talented Reward individuals helping organisations  tailor their strategy solutions, people challenges and organisational needs. 

 

They now wish to appoint additional Reward Consultants for their Manchester and Leeds offices, to support corporate clients in a variety of ways, helping them solve complex and technical issues, as well as advising on overall design/provision of their reward offering.

The role would be responsible for advising companies on all aspects of remuneration, including reward strategy, incentive design, job architecture and provision of market practice. The scope of the role is wide and will vary depending on the needs of clients. 

 

Responsibilities for this role will also include:

 

  • Ensuring strategies for clients are cost effective and best supports employee performance and retention
  • Carrying out remuneration benchmarking, job architecture, pay and grading structures
  • Advising on incentive design, for annual bonuses and longer-term incentive plans
  • Advising on development of employee value propositions
  • Designing remuneration plans
  • Building client relationships
  • Coaching and training of junior members of the team

 

Essential skills and experience

  • Previous experience working within a reward team (either in-house or within a consultancy practice)
  • Able to prioritise projects and work to deadlines 
  • Able to deliver bespoke written and oral advice to clients in a way they will understand
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work within a team effectively 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Strong report writing skills
