A great career opportunity has arisen to join this well respected advisory and financial services firm, as an Assistant Manager to work within their insolvency team.  This highly regarded firm, specialising in advice on business transformation, asset management, restructuring and insolvency, is currently looking for experienced insolvency professionals to assist with the firm’s progression.

As Assistant Manager, based in either their London or Channel Island offices, you will be working as part of a team, with responsibility for mentoring and developing more junior members.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of challenging insolvency cases (both corporate and personal) from start to completion;
  • Preparation of statutory paperwork and other legal documents;
  • Identifying risk issues and reporting findings to senior partners and the development and implementation of strategies for their resolution;
  • Complex investigations, reviews and litigation work;
  • Monitoring job WIP and costs to budget;
  • Development of personal networks.

Requirements for the role:

  • 3+ years formal insolvency experience with previous experience of working on administrations is essential;
  • Ideally, professional accountancy or insolvency qualification (CPI or JIEB);
  • Strong knowledge of restructuring and insolvency principles;
  • Advisory experience (options analysis, accelerated mergers and acquisitions) preferred;
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate across all levels;
  • Strong commercial and business acumen;
  • Good all round educational and academic background; and
  • Good knowledge of IPS and Microsoft Office.
