SENIOR REWARD CONSULTANT – LONDON – c.£70k dependent on experience

We are currently working with a leading professional services firm looking to expand their Reward practice based in London (hybrid working would be considered) with a Senior Reward Consultant.   Providing reward consultancy services to a variety of UK and International organisations, helping  address their HR challenges and achieve business results through people.  HR Specialist areas will include Total Reward Strategy, Job Architectures, Pay Equity & Transparency, Merger & Acquisition Consulting and Sales Compensation Strategy.

As Senior Reward Consultant, you will:

  • Manage and contribute to reward design / strategy projects within the Reward consulting team, including gathering data, analysing results, and developing recommendations and insights in line with clients’ needs and requirements.
  • Be actively involved in finding new business opportunities for reward design/strategy or data projects.
  • Find opportunities to introduce, enhance or standardise the firm’s products and services, in line with changes to reward practice and legislation in the market.
  • Understand and identify client needs, including business and reward strategy, complexities of data gathering and handling, data nuances and caveats, and best practices.
  • Keep up to date with current trends and market data patterns and the implications for client compensation programmes and HR strategies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to best manage client relationships.
  • Support colleagues in creating and growing the reward consulting business and have a good grasp of how the work can be leveraged to other areas of the firm.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and projects and provide supervision and guidance to data analysts or Junior Reward Consultants.
  • Work in accordance with the firm’s risk and compliance policies.

Ideal candidates for Senior Reward Consultant will need to have experience in the following:

  • Previous experience of working in a compensation / benefits function or consultancy
  • Data analysis and reporting
  • Client relationship management
  • Project management processes and practices
  • Producing and presenting reports in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • Managing/mentoring junior members of a team
  • Excellent MS Excel skills
