EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION CONSULTANT – HS0043
We are currently looking for talented individuals, experienced in Executive Compensation.
Our client, who provides high quality, tailored and independent consulting advice on remuneration, is looking for an Executive Compensation Consultant. Ideal candidate should have previous consulting experience, but Analysts and Associates with at least 3 years’ experience working in the Executive Compensation space will also be considered. This is a tremendous opportunity to develop your career and move into consulting.
You will form part of a team, working with a broad range of clients and industries solving complex business issues, ranging from strategy to execution, including compensation structures, executive pay packages, legal and regulatory requirements, tax implications and financial reporting and accounting advice.
Professional skills and responsibilities to include:
- Acting as point of contact to clients and building trusted relationships
- Diagnosing client issues and assisting in designing executive remuneration solutions for Remuneration Committees and management.
- Ability to use a broad range of tools/techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.
- Demonstrating critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
- Keeping up to date with clients’ needs with regular interaction, anticipating their needs to problem solve non-standard, complex issues
- Overseeing work of more junior staff ensuring quality, accuracy and relevance.
- Project managing and allocating work to others as well as coaching to deliver results.
- Ability to use straightforward communication, in a structured way, when influencing and connecting with others.
- Able to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality relationships.
What you will need:
- Preferably a 2:1 in any degree
- A minimum of 3 years’ previous consulting and/or industry experience within Executive Compensation
- Professional qualifications and related Executive Compensation experience from accounting, legal or actuarial backgrounds would also be suited to this role
- Aptitude in problem solving
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Proven, developed analytical and technical skills (Excel)
- Strong written and presentation skills (Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to interpret data
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with clients as well as influence
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Articulate
