Our client, a leading global professional services company and provider of compensation, benefits and employment practices information to employers, covering over 100 countries from various data centres across six continents, is currently looking for a Compensation Data Consultant to join their Rewards & Data Intelligence Practice, supporting Financial Services clients.  Helping organisations develop cost-effective salary and benefit packages, keeping up to date with latest HR developments, ensuring compliance with local laws and customs and assessing and comparing costs of employment within and across regions, this role is a varied and interesting position.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Provide survey and compensation consulting support to Financial Services clients
  • Responsibility for client relationships and providing support
  • Supporting the delivery of compensation-based project work i.e. salary structure development, compensation and benefit reviews and conducting pay assessments and bespoke surveys
  • Ensuring the survey project files are up to date and meet Professional Excellence standards
  • Increase efficiency by identifying ways to improve processes
  • Assisting the survey project team with project management, data validations and survey reviews
  • Conducting and supporting client presentations and forums
  • Account managing survey clients, conducting job benchmarking and supporting their market data requirements
  • Providing survey pricing proposals to new and existing clients
  • Learn and develop technical and consulting skills

Suitable candidates will need:

  • Strong client relationship management skills
  • Good understanding of compensation and benefits issues and the broader HR environment
  • Experience in data management or experience through survey or compensation consulting
  • Be numerate with good data analysis and interpretation skills
  • Good working experience with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint, along with databases or statistical software
  • Strong organisational skills; proactive in planning and organising work efficiently, handling multi projects and priorities
  • Be self-sufficient and manage own workload, asking for support as required and a good team player
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills – comfortable communicating with senior managers
