ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION
As Associate Director or Senior Manager Executive Compensation, it will be your responsibility to provide the firm’s clients (UK and Global companies) with advice on a variety of Reward matters including Remuneration Committee Strategy and Board & Executive pay. You will be instrumental in the design and implementation of pay strategies, linking pay to corporate strategies.
Key tasks will also include:
- Advising on performance measures for incentive plans and modelling performance outcomes
- Advising on the implementation of cash and equity-based incentive plans, including tax, accounting and funding considerations
- Drafting Directors’ Remuneration Reports
- Investor relations consulting, including liaison with institutional investors
- Preparation and/or review of remuneration committee papers
- Executive and non-executive director pay benchmarking
Professional experience required:
- Proven experience in the area of executive compensation, including experience of playing a leading role in serving FTSE Main Market and AIM companies
- Deep technical skills on executive remuneration issues, including an understanding of the relevant legislation and compliance
- Experience in winning, developing and maintaining client relationships, ideally within a consulting environment
- A professional and pro-active approach, to deliver client services that meet the firm’s exceptional standards
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload with a flexible approach, ensuring deadlines are met
- Clear communication skills and ability to produce high quality, client facing, technically accurate, well written work
- Experience in managing a team and effectively delegating work
- Mentoring junior members of the team, providing support and training
- Excellent interpersonal skills – an ability to deal effectively and establish rapport with people at all levels (clients, partners and staff)
