This leading professional services firm is currently looking to expand their Executive Compensation team with an experienced Executive Compensation Consultant.  Providing high quality independent consulting advice on remuneration to a broad range of clients and industries, this firm excels in providing best in-class consulting, rigorous analytics and data driven insights to help organisations of all sizes ensure their executive reward strategy supports the needs of the business.

 

As a consultant, you will be a front-line advisor with client exposure from day one working on interesting challenges alongside a supportive peer group.  You will be diagnosing client issues and assisting in the design of executive remuneration solutions for Remuneration Committees and management and working on a wide variety of high-profile projects with high-profile clients both in the UK and Internationally.

 

Role Expectations:

 

  • Manage project teams to prepare for Remuneration Committee or Executive Committee meetings.
  • Be point of contact for clients, building trusted relationships.
  • Gain exposure and understanding to decision-making by senior consultants who lead the definition and development of deliverables to solve client problems
  • Keep up to date with client needs with day-to-day client interaction, anticipating clients’ needs to problem solve non-standard, complex queries
  • Allocate work to and manage analysts to ensure quality review processes are implemented.
  • Interpret the outputs of analyses to write and structure client presentations
  • Draft and/or review reports and Remuneration Committee papers.
  • Support with the design of solutions with guidance from project leads ie. incentive design, remuneration policy reviews, reviews in light of IPO or M&A activity
  • Attend and gain experience in presenting at client meetings with senior stakeholders
  • Be accountable for delivery of high-quality work and manage the project budget.
  • Support and attend project proposals and marketing initiatives to win new business

 

Qualifications/Experience required:

 

  • 2:1 degree
  • At least 4 years’ previous consulting and/or industry experience within Executive Compensation
  • Professional qualifications and related Executive Compensation experience from accounting, legal or actuarial backgrounds would also be suited to this role
  • Advanced knowledge/experience of using Microsoft Office
  • Proven, developed analytical and technical (Excel) skills
  • Articulate with strong written and presentation skills (Word, PowerPoint)
  • Able to demonstrate problem solving abilities and the able to interpret data and ‘story’ tell
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage with clients, good communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
