ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION – HS0004

Our client, an advisory practice with an excellent World-wide reputation is wishing to expand their Midlands team with an Associate Director, for their Executive Compensation practice.

Their ideal candidate will have a strong background in Executive Remuneration (5+ years), who is looking to get wider exposure working on a variety of projects for FTSE 250 firms. You will be responsible for working on a variety of reward matters including Remuneration Committee strategy and Board &Executive pay and will have the opportunity to work with the firm’s other Reward, Benefits and Mobility teams on various matters.

Candidates will be expected to advise client on the following:

  • Designing executive pay strategies – linking pay to corporate performance
  • Advising on performance measures for incentive plans and modelling performance outcomes
  • Advising on the implementation of cash and equity based incentive plans, including tax, accounting and funding considerations
  • Drafting Directors’ Remuneration Reports
  • Investor relations consulting, including liaison with institutional investors
  • Preparation and/or review of remuneration committee papers
  • Executive and non-executive director pay benchmarking
  • Providing support on proposals and business development activity

Although this is predominantly a Midlands based role, the more senior you are, location could be flexible as there would not be the same requirement to attend the office.  However, they would be looking for someone who is capable of leading and developing the expanding Midlands team, shape its strategic direction and develop and drive new propositions.
